Voluntary Pre-K | Serving Bonita Springs & FT Myers, FL
Our Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) Goes FAR Beyond The Minimum Requirements With Advanced Social Emotional Skills, Computer Labs, Enhanced Learning Environment, And Character Development!
Our Blended Curriculum
and Kindergarten Readiness
The most important learning in the brain happens by the age of five. Our VPK program promotes a love of education in children by using a STEAM and the Creative Curriculum, and by focusing on weekly themes to explore a new topic through letters, colors, numbers, and science. This allows your child to be as prepared as possible for their entry to kindergarten, especially in the areas of literacy, pre-math, and social skills.
A Colorful, Imaginative
Stimulate The Senses
Our fun, child-centric facilities are complete with age and function-specific areas in each classroom while inspiring curiosity, imagination and wonder. The interior of our child-care centers have been specially designed to resemble a small town with shops and streets that take visual learning to the next level. With pops of color, pattern and texture on every surface, there are endless avenues for exploration throughout the day!
Safety and Security Come First
The Growing Room uses state of the art security technology to keep young learners safe and comfortable. All doors are locked and require key card access, while our outdoor yards are fenced in and CCTV cameras are used internally. Parents also enjoy the added benefit of being able to tune in to their child’s daily activities via our convenient live-streaming platform.
Character Development Shape Little Ones' Personas
At such an early and impactful stage in their lives, your child easily picks up habits and personality traits based on those closest to them. Our caretakers make sure to focus on character education in order to highlight positive concepts such as integrity, respect, caring and fairness while promoting beneficial socio-emotional development.
Enriching Activities That
Cater To Every Interest
With a strong emphasis on music, art, creative play and expression, our program offers your child a variety of activities in order to allow them to explore and identify their own interests. From learning new languages to trying yoga, playing group sports or letting their imagination roam free in our dramatic play center, your pre-kindergartener will learn something new throughout each enriching day!
Computer Lab Time To
Develop Technology Skills
With most grade school homework now being done online, we recognize the importance of teaching pre-kindergarteners how to use the computer before their entry into a more formal learning environment. Our computer labs are hosted twice weekly in order to provide your little ones with the technology skills they need in order to succeed.
Your young learner will be able to run, explore and play as much as they’d like thanks to our safe, astro-turf coated outdoor playground areas. With plenty of structures to climb, our recreational space promotes physical development while being divided into three different sections based on age group.
Meals and Snacks
We understand the importance of a nutritious, well-balanced meal to give your pre-kindergartener the energy they need throughout the day. Our breakfast, lunch and snack offerings are complimentary and are entirely free of all nuts including peanuts – all while tasting delicious.
Regular Parent Communication
and an Open Door Policy
Regular communication between caretakers and parents contributes to your pre-kindergartener’s ultimate success at the Growing Room. Our door is always open so that parents can drop by to meet with us whenever they’d like to. We also offer access to a variety of on-site developmental therapists that you can consult with and keep you up to date on your child’s progress with our useful Preschool2me reporting tool.
